SOHTASH Is Now a Registered Non-Profit in Ukraine

Since the beginning of russia’s aggression against Ukraine, we have worked as a grassroots volunteer group under the name SOHTASH, delivering direct aid to frontline units. As our activities grew, it became necessary to formalize our structure. We are proud to share that:

As of November 30, 2023, SOHTASH is officially registered as a non-profit organization in Ukraine
Registration number: 45375312

What Does This Change?

In short—our mission stays the same, but our possibilities grow.

Our core focus remains unchanged:

  • Supporting combat units directly

  • Providing medical, tactical, and logistical supplies

  • Delivering vehicles, trench candles, and camouflage nets

  • Working with schools, institutions, and volunteers both in Ukraine and abroad

What changes is our legal status. With it come certain responsibilities, but more importantly, new opportunities:

  • We are now a recognized partner to state authorities

  • We can streamline border crossings and logistics

  • We can negotiate directly with Ukrainian military command

  • We have registered on U.S. non-profit platforms to improve our visibility for global donors

What’s Next?

We are preparing to take the same step in the Czech Republic. Transparency has always been one of our core values, so we have no issue meeting the obligations of a non-profit. On the contrary—we welcome it.

Why?

Because it allows us to be seen and treated as a reliable legal entity—by donors, by officials, by partners.

That’s essential for growing our impact.

Let’s Get Back to Work

This new status gives us better tools to do what we’ve always done:
Help where it matters most.

We thank everyone who has stood with us so far—and we welcome all new friends and supporters who want to join our mission.

Together, we are stronger.

Sláva Ukrajině! Героям слава!
Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!
