We’ve Received Two Vehicles from a Generous Corporate Donor
About a month ago, we were contacted by a company considering donating two of its vehicles for Ukraine.
They were looking for a trusted intermediary to help carry the idea forward—and we’re grateful that, based on the information on our website and initial conversations, they chose us. We gladly accepted the task and are committed to seeing it through.
Yesterday, we picked up the vehicles in České Budějovice. These are the first cars we’ve received as direct donations—and hopefully not the last. It’s a huge help that allows us to focus immediately on the second stage: preparing, transporting, and delivering the vehicles to the frontline.
Why We Do This
I often wonder if we’re doing enough, if we’re doing it right. But somehow, it always comes together in unexpected ways. What helps is having a broad but clear goal:
We want to help Ukraine.
Because we see the injustice.
Because we see the evil.
Because it’s close—and we feel a moral duty to act.
We focus on combat units—they’re like frontline medics protecting civilians. For every soldier, there are dozens of lives they’re defending.
We try to respond to a broad range of offers. Through our collaboration with the Ukrainian NGO SOHTASH, of which we are a part, we search for the best use of every donation—always aiming to maximize impact. Sometimes we succeed more, sometimes less. We collaborate with other organizations, sharing resources and helping one another deliver aid where it’s most needed.
The Vehicles
In this case, the donor gifted us two vehicles. We already have urgent needs lined up:
-
A van with a functional refrigeration unit
– There’s already a specific request from a medical facility in Druzhkivka, which we’ve supplied before. Sadly, it’s now even closer to the frontline, and the vehicle will serve medical staff in the area. -
A Mitsubishi L200 with a durable aluminum hardtop
– It’s not yet assigned to a unit, but we have several requests for 4x4 off-road pickups, so it’s a perfect match. We’ll coordinate the delivery alongside other scheduled shipments to make the most of each journey.
A Powerful Conversation
I had prepared a list of technical questions about the vehicles, but our conversation quickly turned toward what we do, why we do it, and the values we share.
It was a meaningful exchange—and one that reminded me how uplifting it is to meet people who’ve decided to act. These moments don’t just bring material help—they give us energy.
This kind of support keeps our volunteers going, just as we are a lifeline for Ukrainian soldiers, who see that they are not forgotten—that we are here, and we will stay with them for as long as it takes.
Thank You
A heartfelt thank you to the donors from the company in České Budějovice—for your courage to do the right thing, and for your significant support of Ukraine.
In today’s world, this is not a given, and it deserves our deepest respect.
Be the Example

Choose something that speaks to you—from daily necessities to a donated vehicle—and start changing the world. That’s how I started too. I picked a car, bought it, and drove it east.
Or become a volunteer, using your time and skills—whether with us or elsewhere.
What matters most is not staying passive.
Take responsibility for what’s happening around us. Because right now, it’s needed. And what we do today will shape our own future.
From the perspective of those in Ukraine, we live in comfort. Giving up a little won’t hurt us—but it could make a life-changing difference there.
It’s a good deal, when you think about it.
We just need to realize it.
Together toward victory!
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to all volunteers and donors.
We will endure – because we must. Because we want a better world for our children.
СЛАВА УКРАЇНІ! ГЕРОЯМ СЛАВА!
Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!
