The Vehicle Has Been Painted in a “Lovely” Shade of Brown
Dear donors,
We’d like to update you on the progress of the vehicle funded through our Donio campaign. Thanks to the support of our partner Radac Auto Service, the repairs were completed quickly, and we moved the vehicle to our barn—currently serving as our paint booth and storage space.
Together with my brother Martin, we masked and spray-painted the vehicle ourselves.
Painting in Winter? No Problem.
With outside temperatures below freezing, we had to heat the barn slightly to allow the paint to cure properly.
The requested color from the unit was brown. Khaki is already well-known to enemy drone operators, making vehicles more visible. To support further camouflage once the car arrives in Ukraine, we’ve also purchased spray cans in green, black, and sand tones, so local crews can finish the masking job on-site.
We used only a minimal amount of paint. Admittedly, we’re not in love with the final shade—but the important thing is: the coating turned out well. What do you think?

We’ve also bought mud tires – the car is now fully prepared for its mission.
