Reflecting on the Past Year, Preparing for the Next

As the year draws to a close, it's a natural time for reflection—and we are no exception. At the same time, we are already looking ahead, because our activities require careful planning and long-term commitment.

We all wish for an end to the Russian aggression against Ukraine and for Ukraine to regain the freedom to decide its own future. However, as long as that future remains under threat, our mission remains unchanged: to stand with Ukraine and support its just struggle for sovereignty and peace.

Highlights of 2023

1. 🚙 Vehicles Delivered to the Front

We delivered 9 off-road vehicles (pickups and Transporters) to frontline units and assisted in transferring one personal vehicle for another volunteer group.

2. 🎒 Supplies for Soldiers & Hospitals

We transported food, tactical gear, medical kits, building tools, winter clothing, and hospital supplies to eastern Ukraine (Druzhkivka and frontline units).

3. 🕯️ Trench Candle Production

We launched a serial production workshop in Prague and supported candle-making in schools in Zakarpattia, Ukraine. We produced over 1,500 candles in Prague alone. Key limitation: wax availability.

4. 🕸️ Camouflage Nets

Schools in Osij (Zakarpattia) produced nets year-round. Each net (4×6 m) can cover a vehicle and protect soldiers from drone detection.

5. 📡 Drones

In 2023, we began producing FPV drones in Ukraine for delivery to military units.

6. 🖥️ Online Presence & Public Outreach

We launched our website www.pomahameukrajine.cz, Facebook, Instagram, and a YouTube channel. Our videos gained thousands of views. We documented all deliveries with photos and videos.

7. 🧡 Partnerships & Fundraising

We secured discounted supplies, built donor relationships, and launched a transparent fundraiser on Znesnáze21, raising over CZK 150,000 (~€6,000) by year-end.

8. 📦 Humanitarian Aid Delivery

We delivered vital supplies to combat zones and hospitals, including warming pads (1,275 pairs), flashlights, food, and blankets.

Impact

We supported over 10 frontline units across Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions. Our model focuses on targeted, requested aid – delivering exactly what is needed, when and where it is most urgent.
