We Have a New Logo!

A New Chapter, A Clearer Identity

Yes, it’s true—our initiative Pomáháme Ukrajině (Helping Ukraine) is growing. In order to function more efficiently, we have formalized as a non-profit organization. While the status may be new, our core remains the same:

  • We still operate under SOHTASH

  • Our leaders remain Vasyl Andrishko and Jan Riedl

The only thing that’s changed is our logo. We wanted something simpler, instantly recognizable, and deeply meaningful.

🌞 What Does the Logo Represent?

The logo consists of three elements, each with powerful meaning:

1. The Ukrainian Tryzub – A Falcon in Flight

At first glance, it may look like a trident. But in fact, the Tryzub symbolizes a falcon diving from the sky—a symbol with deep roots in Slavic tradition.

The falcon is a universal symbol of:

  • Light, strength, and courage

  • Harmony between spirit and body

  • Guardianship and freedom

Historically, the Tryzub has appeared on coins minted by Prince Volodymyr in the 10th century, in ancient Kyiv churches, and in Slavic folklore. It became the official coat of arms of Ukraine after independence in 1991, but its roots stretch deep into national memory and identity.

2. A Salute to Ukraine’s Heroes

The second part of our logo includes the Ukrainian patriotic greeting:

Слава Україні! Героям слава!
Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!

This is more than just words—it’s a tribute to every soldier, medic, and volunteer risking their lives. By including it, we want every Ukrainian who receives a box of aid from us to know:
You are not forgotten. We are with you.

3. Our Website: www.pomahameukrajine.cz

We’ve added our website to the logo so that anyone who sees our symbol can learn more—about who we are, what we do, and how to help.

Whether the logo appears on a sticker, a leaflet, or a tape sealing a box of supplies, it carries a message:

This came from people who care. This came from you.

Let Us Know What You Think

We hope the logo speaks clearly, from the heart—just like our mission.

💙 Thank you for standing with us.
Together, we keep making a difference.

Sláva Ukrajině! Героям слава!
Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!
