We Made 675 Trench Candles at Our Latest Public Event
We are deeply grateful to Jirka Brauner for his support of the project, to Adam for cutting the cardboard inserts, and to Eva, Adam, Evička, Kateřina, Anna, Terezka, and David for helping produce the trench candles. In just a few hours, we managed to make 675 candles, 150 of which we were able to pour with wax on the spot. The remaining 525 will be finished in the evenings to come.

We are currently facing a critical shortage of wax. With this level of production, we require 250–300 kg of wax per week. Organizing small local collections of leftover wax and used candles—within families, neighborhoods, workplaces, villages, or towns—and delivering them to our collection points would help us tremendously. We would be happy to arrange pickup from those locations.
