Deliveries of Fire Extinguishers to the Front Lines
On the front line, fire extinguishers can help minimize damage caused by the aggressor – and sometimes even save lives. We responded to requests for these devices by reaching out to certified inspection technicians who handle extinguisher servicing. Our goal was to collect fully functional fire extinguishers that can no longer be used in the Czech Republic due to legal restrictions.
The initiative was a success – we managed to collect over 250 units of these extinguishers!
Sharing Resources Where They’re Needed Most
When we obtain materials in larger quantities than our supported units currently need, we prefer to get them to Ukraine immediately rather than letting them sit in storage. That’s why we actively communicate with other volunteer groups to transfer aid where it’s needed most and can be used right away.
That’s exactly what happened with the January shipment of fire extinguishers, which we shared with Vasyl Kapustei and the organization Cesta naděje života. They had an urgent need and were able to put the equipment to use efficiently.
Helping Without Money
Helping is our mission – and sometimes the biggest limitation is lack of funds. But this is an example of how we can still help, even when money is scarce.
