The first three power generators are now up and running in Ukraine! We’re honored to share a thank-you message from the 4th Rapid Reaction Brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard (Unit 3018) and the 137th Separate Marine Battalion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

About a month ago, we were contacted by a company considering donating two of its vehicles for Ukraine.

Thanks to a fortunate series of events and the dedication of our volunteers, we’ve managed to secure a suitable vehicle in record time for Unit A0139, part of the 101st Artillery Division of the General Staff Security Brigade.

It may be the beginning of summer, but our trench candle production hasn’t stopped. Once again, we were joined by Ukrainian children from Kunratice Elementary School, along with their dedicated teachers.

We’ve successfully completed our long-term fundraiser on the Znesnáze platform.

We’ve launched a Donio fundraiser to purchase an off-road pickup truck for Unit A0139, part of the 101st Artillery Division stationed near Chasiv Yar, Donetsk Oblast.

Our second mission this year as part of the SOHTASH group led us to the southern frontline in Zaporizhzhia, where we delivered a vehicle to the newly supported 453rd Independent Infantry Unit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Yesterday afternoon, we had the opportunity to take a behind-the-scenes look at the work of SÚRO together with the children from Kunratice Elementary School.

We traveled to Brno to introduce ourselves, share our experience in humanitarian aid, and explore ways to collaborate and support each other in the future.

The first vehicle of the year has been delivered to the front. It was a Ford Transit, which we purchased in the Czech Republic, repaired as needed, and handed over to Ukrainian soldiers on the southern front.

Since the start of russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, we have worked tirelessly as a grassroots volunteer group. To increase our efficiency, improve our transparency, and better respond to growing needs, we are proud to announce that we are now operating as an official non-profit organization.

To make it easier for anyone wishing to donate wax for our trench candle production for Ukraine, we’ve set up a publicly accessible drop-off container in front of our workshop.

Our third public trench candle-making event was a tremendous success – we broke our previous record for the number of candles produced and pushed the boundaries of what's possible. This shows how far we’ve come – and how much more we can achieve together.

I’ve spent a total of three weeks in Ukraine during wartime. Some realizations come gradually. One of them is the vital role played by institutions like the Irshava Museum Institute.

In Western Ukraine’s Zakarpattia region, we are producing camouflage nets with the help of local volunteers. As of now, four schools are involved in this important effort.

We’ve organized our first public trench candle-making event for Ukrainian soldiers in Prague. It was a small, intimate gathering — but very pleasant and meaningful for each of us. We're not standing by, waiting for things to improve. We're taking action and making things better ourselves.

Three weeks ago, we launched a wax collection for making trench candles and gradually reached out to dozens of parishes across the Czech Republic asking for help. The first to offer assistance was the parish of Kutná Hora. This update is a thank-you to the Roman Catholic Parish – Archdeanery of Kutná Hora and to the children from the elementary school in the village of Osij in Zakarpattia for their long-term help in producing trench candles.

After returning from our trip, we had a little time left — and we used it to visit the Irshava Historical Museum, where we were welcomed and guided by historian and museum director Mr. Andrei Svitlynets.

On our way to deliver humanitarian aid to soldiers in eastern Ukraine, we came across a canteen unlike any other you’ve probably encountered.

I hesitated to write this post, but in the end, I decided I should. My journey as a co-organizer of humanitarian aid started as a donor and volunteer — and now, like my colleagues, I’m doing all I can. But the truth is, we also need help.

The courage of Czech volunteers in Project Phoenix — and their determination to help in what is arguably one of the darkest places on earth right now — is nothing short of inspiring. Thank you, even from those of us who remain at home.

Obdrželi jsme požadavek od mediků ze 4. Brigády rychlé reakce Národní gardy Ukrajiny ze směru Bachmut, Orihovo (Záporoží).

Je pro nás důležité, abychom Vám dobře vysvětlili proces fungování naší skupiny. Není lehké to popsat jednou větou. Proto jsme se rozhodli připravit tuto přehlednou infografiku.

Organizátor pomoci Vasil Andrishko včera vyzvedl materiál pro podporu od humanitární organizace v Debrecena, tento bude při nejbližší cestě doručen potřebným na východní Ukrajinu.

Lidé, kteří skupinu SOHTASH založili, včetně Vasyla jsou ze Zakarpatí. Slovo SOHTASH neboli Stříbrné země je staré slovo z Podkarpatského kraje, které vyjadřuje charakter Podkarptaska.

V červenci jsme obdrželi seznam potřebných položek k zajištění, který jsme roztřídili a umístili na web.

Jsme skupina dárců, kteří se rozhodli pomáhat Ukrajině, někdo už od počátku invaze 2022, někdo se přidal později, co nás spojuje je vůle pomoci tam, kde je to aktuálně potřeba.
